Last week I was hired with the court for the position of Drug Court Coordinator, which I quickly accepted. I had been anxiously waiting to hear, my interview was July 27th! Today was my first full day! I am ready for a new challenge and super excited about this job. Although I am not going too far, from the basement to the third floor, I will greatly miss my pals in the DA's office. But, they are not rid of me just yet because I am going to be working part-time with them at least through September.
Earl is also staying busy with work, even though it has been raining here (I thought I left Western Washington). This morning he left for the Burley Idaho area where he will be basically on stand-by. The Forest Service put him and his crew up in a motel over there, so he certainly is not roughing it. This is perfect for him because it will allow him to complete his crew boss training. I suspect he'll be out the full two weeks.
Oh and the kids, they are perfect as always. MaKenna is discovering her feet and started sleeping through the night again, thank goodness. As for Mason he is funnier then ever, he now has an imaginary friend named Lisa. They play a lot of soccer together. Today he made me the most beautiful artwork at Gina's, it is my first piece for my new cubicle.
