As I sat in my oh so quiet house this morning I couldn't stop thinking about how much I love the regular noises around this place. Such as those -- mom can you help me, or mom can we go on a bike ride phrases from Mason or the noises he makes as he is sleeping, the almost a snore sound, yes he already does this. I must say it cracks me up when he is playing because he makes the varoom and other total little boy noises, too funny.
MaKenna is working harder and harder to ensure that she is heard around here too. When crying of course we can all hear her, and come running, but she doesn't cry too often. She is more into cooing, grunting, and gurgling, while making those famous bubbles. She also has this new coughing thing she does, it is almost more like a demand for something. Her laugh is amazing. She is figuring out how to make her toys louder and louder too.
It was quiet in our house only because I woke up extra early so that I would be ready for work before the kids even started to stir. I thought this might help me feel not so rushed, although it didn't really. I am a rushed person, but I come by it honestly. As I was sitting there I was literally twiddling my thumbs wondering what to do without my two babies awake....then I heard my absolute favorite noise from Mason, little feet walking across the hardwood floor and I knew my sunshine was awake and ready to start his day. Shortly after MaKenna woke up full of smiles and laughs. I knew it was going to be an excellent day.
