My mom and Aunt Donna arrived on Tuesday evening, so it's been more of a weekful. Here to watch our second soccer game of the season. Our's because I am the coach of Mason's U7 team. We are called Kehr Chiropractic. The team is full of kids with energy overflow. I told the parents this was my first time coaching and we are here strictly for f-u-n. And that we are having.
Hello, Boise. Thursday I found myself in the office of a cardiologist, for what was probably the most uneventful doctor's appointment ever. It was a quick hello, I'm Dr. Marks. You are my patient who does not have the heart condition your GP told you. You have abnormal EKG's and a heart that "hurts" you. So we will be doing more tests. Since you are riding the STP in just over a week you need to come back Wednesday for stress and Echo testing.
The Boise Zoo Thursday was cheap to enter and a pleaser to the under seventy crowd. The mall was refreshing, as was REI. I forget how much I enjoy window shopping. Bargains. And gear for the outdoors. We just might end up packing up the car and heading east more often. But not Wednesday. I'm saving that trip for another week as I already have lots of packing and prepping and training to cram in before Friday's take-off to Seattle.
As for our "real" weekend? The weather is HOT! The kids and I continue to find that our backyard along with sprinklers, squirt guns and an assortment of baby pools remains to be the best hang out so far this summer. *Please note, we have not hit up Catherine Creek or the Pendleton Waterpark. We did go to a House Warming Party and a Meat Loaf cook-off/block party Sunday. Crazy Days and the Firefighters breakfast on Saturday. Not to forget the Friday night pool party at a co-workers! Her backyard is pretty damn awesome, too!
