Oh. My. Gosh. We just returned home from the busiest weekend, ever. I'm sure of it. Friday morning the kids and I left at 7:30 AM and arrived at JJ's at about 1:15. Upon arrival we headed out to Lewis & Clark State Park to set up our camp site. After set up, ran to the grocery store. Only to return back to the State Park for a little birthday get together for Mason. Along with friends and family we celebrated him turning six, again.
Saturday morning I was up early to cut fruit. Headed out on a bike ride with my dad, 35 miles to prep for the STP with a few of his buddies, we should have gone more. Got home, prepared for Michelle's bridal shower. Showered her with gifts and love to stock her kitchen, with more family and friends. Went back to our camp and had dinner. Then went out to the Egg Day celebration where I saw people I haven't seen since I was in elementary school.
As I write this it doesn't seem nearly as packed, but I never stopped and learned a valuable lesson. Don't stay up until two am when you have a long drive ahead of you with three overly tired super cranky kids. Who fought the entire drive instead of sleeping. Happy to be home! The bad part, I don't have a single picture to share. My camera never made it out of my car.
