I Think We Are Entitled To Sleep Now

This weekend was another blast of fun. We were busy like we've been the past four weekends. Usually on Saturdays, May through September, I find myself and my munchkins at the farmers market, husbandless. To get our produce, but also a lot because I have nothing better to do. To just kind of hang out. I am still yet to go this year. Maybe it's because I am still with hubby. And I am grateful for that.



This Saturday, along with hubby and Dandaddy, I completed my longest bike ride, like ever. 69 miles, throughout the Grande Ronde Valley. We started at Riverside Park, 6AM and ended at Riverside Park 11:30 AM. The ride took us out to Cove then through Imbler and Elgin and back to the park. I wish I would have had my camera. The day couldn't have been anymore perfect.

At 50 miles I was sure I could have went another 50, I was wrong! The last 10 miles were killer. But we finished!In the 70 mile male group, Dandaddy took 2nd place and Daddy took 4th place! Way to go. I however took 1st in the 70 mile female group. Only because the 2 girls in front of me didn't turn in their time--which made me the official winner, medal and all.
