After much consideration I decided to bundle up the babies and join E and Mason, along with Ted, Cassidee and Cole, on a firewood expedition.
The kids and I spent lots of quality time in the truck as E and his dad fell trees and such. Then it became too cold outside anyway. The truck was a fun place to be. I packed lots of candy and other goodies.
And the fact that they are both smiling amazes me. By the time all the firewood was loaded and flat changed it was well past dark.
I enjoyed the elk we saw on our dark drive home. However it was too quick for this picture. Or I was too slow.
