this is how we are ROLLing, right now.

On any given week day, we start by waking a few minutes later than we should. Unless of course it's Tuesday & Thursday when I sneak out at 5:45 to teach a 6A spin class. 7A, week or weekend is our UP time. And in that moment, the chaos of three begins!
We run around like chickens getting through the morning the best we know how. I sound something like this. Have you had breakfast? Is your bag packed, lunch in that bag? Morgann, where is your backpack? MaKenna, it's forty degrees, please put your jacket on! Please! Where are the shoes? Mason, is your reading in your backpack? Your homework folder? Is it your library day? Yours? Or yours? Snack bucket? Show and tell? What the heck is today?
It's 8:30 and all kids are dropped off, in class. Mommy is at work. Writing and reporting for grants. Entering UA's clean and dirty and ensuring offenders are complying with their treatment programs. Quite honestly, a place I love to be. The co-workers are awesome. Understanding. And absolutely amazing. The old building is truly my home away from home. I love to do what I do there and like to think that I do a darn good job at what I do there.
Yikes! It's time to shuffle kids midday from pre-school, pre-kindergarten and second grade. Different kids, different times, different places. I pick them all up at 5P and head straight for home. Where we all meet up again. Hubby/Daddy gets home from his day at work. Thinning. Herding employees. Checking fires. Digging line. And whatever else he does so well.
Right now, given our flooded kitchen/remodel circumstances, we head out to dinner around 6. We are almost tired of our favorite restaurant, Mamacitas. The other night we all thoroughly enjoyed the Ale House. I refuse to eat at Smokehouse. Sometimes we hit up Denny's, it's easy. New York Richies, always treats us well. Occasionally we drive to the little eateries out of town. And we are all always up for Mexican.
Home. Homework. Baths. Read books. Brush hair. Teeth. Get to bed by 8:15.
Not to mention the array of extra-curriculars we participate in. Daddy coaches Mason's football team. Practice twice a week, 6-7P and two games on Saturdays. Awanas every Wednesday night for all three chillins, ah-ha date night for the older crowd. Mommy became something with the PTA last Tuesday night or the Tuesday before (oddly, I can't remember). A trip to the pool here and there. Runs and bike rides when we can, evening strolls and walks with the neglected Shih-Tzu we call ours! Playdates. Every Thursday I volunteer in Mason's class (I will share more on that later). Run. Shuffle. Jog. We do what we got to do.
That my friends, is our day. In a serious nutshell.
