Winter Ready.

We just had our first family snow day for this year. Besides E disabling his knee, from a rock, the sledding was nice. The snow, made for happiness. The drive to Anthony Lakes, gave us peace and quiet to talk about the upcoming Holiday craziness. The who wants what and who needs what. I love giving.

I thought, for a second, MaKenna might not enjoy sledding, so much. I was wrong. The snow and her got along. We brought her pink ski's but since safety comes first, kept them off of her. She can't wait to try next time we are in the white powdery stuff.

Although he wasn't skiing or for that matter testing out a snowboard (because he really wants to board), Mason didn't want to leave. I guess starting out young made for a true-blue snow lover. His eyes, seriously, light up when we talk about snow, skiing, boarding, sledding, snowball fights or any other snow activity. He was hard to pull away.

Because of course we had to pull him away, eventually. Sooner than later. Right when I thought things couldn't be any better, Morgann started this! E jokingly said, "You and JJ are going to get along well!" And it got worse from there. The girl disliked the NO! Think two year old screaming, "NO (S)NOW!" Although it sounded like no no, I knew it was no snow! And got her back to the truck. Where there was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich waiting. That always makes things better. Because I'm sure the family from Baker (who so kindly took our picture), with a Morgan who wasn't fond of the snow at first either, didn't want to listen to a two year old scream.
