MaKenna is LOVING Heidi Ho. Although she is still somewhat timid and shy when I drop her off. She warms up. Mrs. Lara gives her a hug, all that shyness melts away. And out comes MaKenna. Ready for school. She was especially ready today. It was her classes turn for the pumpkin patch. Her and her nine classmates piled onto the little yellow bus and travelled through the valley to Mrs. Stonebreaker's special Pumpkin Patch. I was lucky enough to be the fourth car behind the bus. Fourth of six. To be honest I was a little bit surprised at how fast the Mr. Driver was speeding along! Well over the speed limit!
At first sight of the pumpkins, MaKenna ran. Only to be deterred by the cute little puppy. The tree house, swing set, dirt pile, cows and of course her mommy. She was overwhelmed with happiness. She found the perfect pumpkin that she could carry. And off she went to play again. With her friends.
I snapped a quick pic and left when I could. I had work to get back to. Even though I couldn't stay more than thirty minutes, it's times like these I am thankful for flexibility. A job that suits my needs and fits my personality. A life that is bringing me more happiness than anyone will ever know.
On a side note. I think a good chop of the hair is very much over-do. Like a 10 to 12 inch chop. What do you think?
