The hubby and I,
took our three kids to Bainbridge Island for the night. For a big surprise.
It wasn't the ferry ride, the exclusive Islandwood tour or pizza that Mason ate three pieces of in one sitting.
Back to Islandwood, the treehouse, suspension bridge, nature trails, and look-out below--all uniquely amazing.
To be honest, my calves our still sore. But looking above the forest canopy was so worth it.
Mason and MaKenna climbed every step themselves. Up and back down. Without a single tear. I carried a sleeping Morgann, wanted to shed a tear and can't walk as a result. (I thought I was in better shape than that!)
Their surprise was a little playground of their own.
That cousin Cindy was ready to part with. Her and Bill were happy to know it would be getting some use, our three little people were excited because it had three swings, a slide and climbing net.
E and Bill spent Saturday morning taking it apart and loading it into the truck. We drove home right after. Daddy had to work today. I have spent all morning explaining to the kids why their swing set isn't magically up just yet.....
I love it when everyone is happy!
