Camp Creek Lodge VI

I can't believe this was our sixth year at Camp Creek Lodge-- Government Camp, Oregon. Skiing and having snow much fun at Mount Hood. No, your corny comment needed, I already know it.

The first year Mason was just a baby. A few years went by and MaKenna was just a baby. Two years ago we told my parents that we'd be having another baby, at the same table we sat at this year. While watching the snow fall.

We always have two cabins full. This year we ate a grand brunch at Edelweiss on Sunday. Yum. French toast. Mimosas. Bloody Mary's. Bacon. Yum. A fiesta with mango salsa and pork tacos on Friday and a complete italian spread on Valentines. Eggplant parm, lasagne and chicken fettucini. Caprese salad and garlic bread. Yum.

There was some rain, but it certainly did not dampen our fun in any sort of way. We weren't going to let it.

Mason skied four straight days at Timberline. And now he is an all mountain, all about the jumps, skier. I followed him, and I became all about the jumps and treeline, too. And the rails. He didn't only get myself hooked on the jumps, he got Daddy, Alicia, Michelle, Tammy, Grandpa Dan, Jake, and Kiri hooked.

We look forward to this every year, already we are anxious for 2011. Planning for MaKenna and Morgann to get their turn at the Summit. They should be ready!
