The next year we had MaKenna and the summer flew by and after much consideration we decided the roof could make it through one more winter. Only to get pregnant with Morgann. Wow. Last fall was a blur and money tight, no new roof.
We did it. We put a new roof on that was so much needed. Well, E and company did all the "real" roofing work. I took off and went shopping for one day. However, before I left I threw a roast in the crockpot and fed them amazing brisket sandwiches that night. And continued to feed well through the remainder of the weekend. Plus I filled the wheelbarrows with our old roof.
As you can see from the pictures we seriously needed a new roof. Big bonus, our house isn't the most unkept looking on the block anymore. I am not putting the finished project pictures up yet. Because we are back to back project weekends, if all goes as planned (which never seems to happen--it could be three weeks). Monday our new windows come in. I'll show you finished all together! Check back soon.
