Pumpkin Patch 2009

We went just to go. And bought a few pumpkins, just to buy pumpkins. We grew our own monstrous pumpkins and Mason has brought two home from school and we let them grab a few at the store a couple weeks back. Although we really didn't need to go to the patch, we spent our Sunday morning there. Running through the maze, finding a Cinderella Pumpkin, and climbing the haystack.

I write as if I really was not going to take them because why would they have to go? E saw a friend who lives in Wallowa County (our neighboring county and even more rural than us, I called them frontier-like in a grant for work and got a good laugh from co-workers) who drove to La Grande just to take his kids to the Pumpkin Patch. I would so do that, too!
Our costumes are coming along quite nicely. The plans are still for a little walking farm in search of candy. Us adults will be the farmers, I even have Key overalls (which I really used to wear on the farm). While the kids will be the animals, and fittingly. Mason a cow. Not just any cow a Bull Cow. Hopefully complete with nose ring, any suggestions? MaKenna a little chicken. Oh and Morgann the pig. And she really is. She scarfed up a full enchilada last night before MaKenna had even finished a half.
