I happily participated in my second triathlon, which was part of the La Grande festivities--Crossing the Blues (the title links you to the site, if your interested). My overall time was 1 hour 27 minutes & 51 seconds--good for me! Split times for me and my fellow triathlete friends are (or will be) posted on the site,
LG TRI, hopefully the overall time is right. The entire experience was fantastic. In the swim picture, I'm the fish sporting the yellow cap in the first lane--lucky first laners, we had the ladder for our exit.
After the triathlon event, we walked down to see what the city had to offer. The kids enjoyed the mister, friends and music. The arts, bike shop and jewelry. But, mostly we enjoyed each other and polished the night off with a yummy dinner at Mamacitas.
