I can't describe how happy I am to have a boy. They're so much fun. So much dirt. So many bugs. So little maintenance. So few shoes.

Mason is such a boy. A complete four year old, through and through. He does all those gross things that big brothers do. Torments. Plays too aggressively. Laughs. Games.

But. He's so genuine. Even the administrator in his school couldn't help but ask our daycare provider, if he always shows so much compassion? Is he always this concerned for others?

Yes. She told him. He's always worried about and for other people. Right now he's concerned for Mrs. Onjukka, her daughter and their entire family. He has not skipped blessing them a single night this week. Nor has he made it 4 hours without talking through what could happen. And explaining to me why Mrs. Onjukka won't be at his spring program. But assuring me it's ok because she needs to be with her daughter.
I love this little guy. If only everyone could have a heart this big.
