2 Heidi Ho Field Trips in 1 post, that is. The first trip was last Thursday. The destination was to one of Mason's classmates farm. Where there were baby cows that needed to be fed by bottle. JJ was lucky enough to go with Mason and she braved bringing MaKenna along.
The cows were a hit. Especially for Mason, whom loves cows. About twice a week around nap time, you can find me driving my sleepy babes all over the county in search of cows and quiet time. This was so much better then just looking!
The second field trip was today. It was a venture, with Mrs. Onjukka behind the wheel of the bus, to PGG. At PGG the kids found lots and lots of baby chicks and baby turkeys. However, "there aren't as many chicks as my grandpa has," says Mason.
No, I didn't have the heart to leave MaKenna behind, either. She enjoyed the chicks just as much as the four and five year olds did.

But, I think her favorite part was the BUS. No Car SEAT! Both trips included a bus ride for the kids, which they enjoyed. MaKenna because it was new to her and Mason because he had his JJ, mom and sister with him. Could it get any better?

Well, it could have for the kids. If only Mrs. Onjukka would have listened to their Chant...Primos...Primos...Primos and detoured there for lunch, I am quite sure there would have been grins from ear to ear for the remainder of the day.
