Child #2

1. MaKenna is frequently using the toilet for all of her number two business. In return for this mommy and daddy give her M & M's. Missing the potty training time would totally suck due to the amount of diapers gone through in this house. Everyone will continue to work hard at this. (Please don't be surprised if she isn't fully house trained until after her second birthday--these things take time!)
2. She, our little fit thrower, happily completed three weeks of waterbabies. The lack of excitement in instruction was made up for with the waterslide. Ahain, ahain (again) she'd say after each trip down. Our last night she convinced the softy parent to go down at least 8 times. Lucky Girl. (Oh, I was not the parent in the water that night, you probably knew that though.)

3. She is being cutback from su-su time. And as we do this I am learning she is a lot like me. Su-su's are only allowed at nap and bedtimes. MaKenna will take a nap just to get a su-su. Think suuuu-suuuu in an extremely high pitched voice/scream/demand. She is crazy for su-su's. (And let me just mention briefly that even when she has su-su's in she does weird things with her tongue.)4. Now about that girls hair. It's a wild crazy half mop. That I cannot decide if we should cut or continue to let grow. Will she look like a boy? Will her cowlicks make short hair even more out of control? Because I know we can always put the current locks in rubber bands, which do cause screams. Any thoughts?
