Our special guests have come and gone. And let me tell you, they are even more special than I remember. Years have passed since we have seen them last, but we picked up right where we left off. If that is possible, considering their kids were 4 and 2 when they left and E and I had just hooked up, behind their backs. Kind of. It's a long story.

Mason bothered his cousin Jacob nonstop for the entire two days they were here. He wants to be just like him, kind of like Jacob wants to be just like the EOU Men's basketball team. His dad was lucky enough to sneak in a viewing of practice. I am sure that he'll remember that forever!

Like all kids MaKenna loved cousin Kelly and Jenn. She enjoyed watching football and getting books read to her. She also really liked Kaitlyn's polly something toys. We obviously aren't there quite yet. Ok. What she really liked was all the yummy food! She is predictable, still eating more than Mason, and I'm sure Jake and Kate too.

Since they were here we also rekindled our Alma mater spirit. Go Eastern Oregon Mountaineers! We all visited the college campus. The kids got new Eastern gear. And I even got an alumni sticker for my car. Now that's what I call school spirit. Oh, and I promised Mason a basketball game this season. And really, it better not be sooo looong before we see them next time.
